A high-pressure washer with direct drive is generally more compact and its initial price is lower. So why to choose a belt drive?
A belt driven pump is ideal for cleaning applications that require more than 20 hours by week. The high-pressure pump spins at a less RPM reducing heat and vibration. If you’re using your pressure washer less than 20 hours/week, a direct drive may be better suited for your application.
